What's the best typeface for your book? Tricky, isn't it. You can check what fonts other books have used, but then what? What's the right font size for the main text? And for the running heads and the title page? And what about the line spacing? And where does the page number go? Page design can be a struggle–and it's only too obvious when you get it wrong. There are many routes to getting your book printed and published. We favour the simplest: one that provides a remarkable on-demand printing service. Rather than having to pay for hundreds of copies of your own book, and plead with your printer to make changes each time you notice a spelling mistake, you need only buy as many copies as you want–or none–while making changes as often as you like. It's all very well self-publishing a book but you've also got to get the word out: books don't sell themselves. Some PR firms will take your money for sending out press releases that go straight in the bin. You need something that's tailored to you and the book. We're realistic about this and we can advise.
